2 Chronicles 11 - The Scriptures 1998

¹ And when Reḥ

² But the word of יהוה  came to Shemayahu the man of Elohim, saying,

³ “Speak to Reḥ

⁴ ‘Thus said יהוה, “Do not go up or fight against your brothers! Let every man return to his house, for this matter is from Me.” ’ ” So they obeyed the words of יהוה, and turned back from going against Yaroḇ

⁵ And Reḥ

⁶ And he built Bĕ

⁷ and Bĕ

⁸ and Gath, and Marĕ

⁹ and Aḏ

¹⁰ and Tsorʽ

¹¹ And he strengthened the strongholds, and put commanders in them, and stores of food, and oil, and wine,

¹² and shields and spears in every city, and made them very strong. Thus Yehuḏ

¹³ And from all their borders the priests and the Lĕ

¹⁴ For the Lĕ

¹⁵ as he appointed for himself priests for the high places, and for goats, and the calf idols which he had made.

¹⁶ And after the Lĕ

¹⁷ And they strengthened the reign of Yehuḏ

¹⁸ And Reḥ

¹⁹ And she bore him sons: Yeʽ

²⁰ And after her he took Maʽ

²¹ And Reḥ

²² And Reḥ

²³ And he had understanding, and dispersed some of his sons throughout all the lands of Yehuḏ
