¹ And all Yisra’ĕ

² And the first inhabitants who were in their possessions in their cities of Yisra’ĕ

³ And in Yerushalayim dwelt some of the children of Yehuḏ

⁴ Uthai son of Ammihuḏ

⁵ And of the Shilonites: Asayah the first-born and his sons.

⁶ And of the sons of Zeraḥ

⁷ And of the sons of Binyamin: Sallu son of Meshullam, son of Hoḏ

⁸ and Yiḇ

⁹ and their brothers, according to their generations, nine hundred and fifty-six. All these men were heads of a father’s house in their fathers’ houses.

¹⁰ And of the priests: Yeḏ

¹¹ and Azaryah son of Ḥ

¹² and Aḏ

¹³ and their brothers, heads of their fathers’ houses, one thousand seven hundred and sixty, able men for the work of the service of the House of Elohim.

¹⁴ And of the Lĕ

¹⁵ and Baqbaqqar, Ḥ

¹⁶ and Oḇ

¹⁷ And the gatekeepers: Shallum, and Aqquḇ

¹⁸ And up till then they were gatekeepers for the camps of the children of Lĕ

¹⁹ And Shallum son of Qorĕ

²⁰ And Pineḥ

²¹ Zeḵ

²² All those chosen as gatekeepers at the thresholds were two hundred and twelve. They were registered by genealogy, in their villages. Dawiḏ

²³ So they and their sons were over the gates of the House of יהוה, the House of the Tent, by watches.

²⁴ The gatekeepers were on the four sides: the east, west, north, and south.

²⁵ And their brothers in their villages had to come with them from time to time for seven days.

²⁶ For the four chief gatekeepers were in an office of trust. They were Lĕ

²⁷ And they spent the night all around the House of Elohim because they had the duty, and they were to open it morning by morning.

²⁸ And some of them were over the vessels of service, for they brought them in and took them out by count.

²⁹ And some of them were appointed over the vessels, even over all the vessels of the set-apart place, and over the fine flour and the wine and the oil and the incense and the spices.

³⁰ And some of the sons of the priests blended the compound of spices.

³¹ And Mattithyah of the Lĕ

³² And some of their brothers of the sons of the Qehathites were over the showbread, to prepare every Sabbath.

³³ And these were the singers, heads of the fathers’ houses of the Lĕ

³⁴ These heads of the fathers’ houses of the Lĕ

³⁵ And Yeʽ

³⁶ And his first-born son was Aḇ

³⁷ and Geḏ

³⁸ And Miqloth brought forth Shimʽ

³⁹ And Nĕ

⁴⁰ And the son of Yehonathan was Meriḇ

⁴¹ And the sons of Miḵ

⁴² and Aḥ

⁴³ and Motsa brought forth Binʽ

⁴⁴ And Atsĕ
