¹ The Lord is gracious and merciful: patient and plenteous in mercy.

² The Lord is sweet to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

³ 0 Let all thy works, O lord, praise thee: and let thy saints bless thee.

⁴ 1 They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom: and shall tell of thy power:

⁵ 2 To make thy might known to the sons of men: and the glory of the magnificence of thy kingdom.

⁶ 3 Thy kingdom is a kingdom of all ages: and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.

⁷ 4 The Lord lifteth up all that fall: and setteth up all that are cast down.

⁸ 5 The eyes of all hope in thee, O Lord: and thou givest them meat in due season.

⁹ 6 Thou openest thy hand, and fillest with blessing every living creature.

¹⁰ 7 The Lord is just in all his ways: and holy in all his works.

¹¹ 8 The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him: to all that call upon him in truth.

¹² 9 He will do the will of them that fear him: and he will hear their prayer, and save them.

¹³ 0 The Lord keepeth all them that love him; but all the wicked he will destroy.

¹⁴ 1 My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord: and let all flesh bless thy holy name for ever; yea, for ever and ever.

¹⁶ Praise the Lord, O my soul, in my life I will praise the Lord: I will sing to my God as long as I shall be. Put not your trust in princes:

¹⁷ in the children of men, in whom there is no salvation.

¹⁸ His spirit shall go forth, and he shall return into his earth: in that day all their thoughts shall perish.

¹⁹ Blessed is he who hath the God of Jacob for his helper, whose hope is in the Lord his God:

²⁰ who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all things that are in them.

²¹ Who keepeth truth for ever: who executeth judgment for them that suffer wrong: who giveth food to the hungry. The Lord looseth them that are fettered:
