The Lord my Great Lord.
God is the Master and majestic Lord. God is our authority.
Psalms 8 Isaiah 40:3-5 Ezekiel 16:8 Habakkuk 3:19.
Adonai is the plural of Adon. This term is the verbal parallel to Yahweh, Jehovah and YHWH (which was considered too holy to be pronounced). The word "Adonai" is not a proper noun nor is it directly a name of God. It is an emphatic form of the word "Adon" which means "lord" or "master". That is an statement of someone who is above everyone else, the one who is superior, that is why its common use is THE LORD.
Jesus has the name of God.
The holy name "Yahweh" means "I am". It expresses the idea that only God is self-existent. The name was so sacred that the Jews did not pronounce it aloud. Christ also has that name. John 1:1 says that "the Word was God". John 1:14 says that "the Word became flesh". This clearly indicates that Jesus is God in the flesh. Acts 20:28 says "be shepherds of the church of God which he bought with his own blood". Who bought the church with his own blood? Jesus Christ.Acts 20:28 declares that God bought the church with his own blood! Therefore, Jesus is God!
Isaiah 40:3-5 Matthew 3:3; 28:19 Philippians 2:6-11; Exodus 3:14.
I AM, who was, and is and is to come (Mark 6:50; Luke 21:8; John 8:24, 28, 58; Revelation 4:8).
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God ( John 1:1).
