The Lord my Great Lord.
God is the Master and majestic Lord. God is our authority.
Psalms 8 Isaiah 40:3-5 Ezekiel 16:8 Habakkuk 3:19.
Adonai is the plural of Adon. This term is the verbal parallel to Yahweh, Jehovah and YHWH (which was considered too holy to be pronounced). The word "Adonai" is not a proper noun nor is it directly a name of God. It is an emphatic form of the word "Adon" which means "lord" or "master". That is an statement of someone who is above everyone else, the one who is superior, that is why its common use is THE LORD.
Jesus is our judge, but he is also our advocate.
Jesus, our advocate who pleads for us before the justice court of God, is also the judge of all (Romans 8:34) Nowadays, we see the activities of the lawyers, the corruption that exists, the indolent way to the people they work for, and for those reasons most of them are not well seen. But we have a powerful defender who we can completely trust in and we know that he looks after us. He stands for us for so many reasons. Jesus understands our weaknesses, he knows how hard it is to live with them and to obey God at the same time. Jesus knows us but he also knows what is like to live as a man and to fight against temptations. a lawyer gets paid to defend someone else. Christ paid the price to be our advocate, our mediator, our savior. He gave our life and spilled his blood for us (Galatians 1:3-5) What a wonderful lawyer we have, that gave his life for us and pay the price with his blood! (1 Corinthians 6:20 Acts 20:28. We have a wonderful lawyer that pleads for us before God, help us in our weakness and needs, who gave his life for us.
John 5:22-23 Micah 4:3 Matthew 2:6 Acts 10:42.
Wonderful counselor
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God ( John 1:1).
