An apostle is a person who has communicated directly with God and has the authority to speak on his behalf. The High Priest was the person designated by God to appear before him in representation of the people. Jesus is the spokesman of God and who represents us before God. How good is it that Jesus. How good it is that Jesus alone represents us before God! There is no other like him! "Such a high priest truly meets our needs, one who is Holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens" (Hebrews 7:26). He never fails, He does not act driven by selfish interests but only by his generous love. he is a High Priest that does not sleep while his sheep are under attack, such a High Priest truly meets our needs! A Christian can be afraid (occasionally) but it's confident, can feel lonely (but is not abandoned), and above all the sad and painful circumstances can look up to his priest, watch him sitting on his throne and hear him saying, "My sheep listen to my voice; i know them and they follow me. i give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand" (John 10:27-28).
