Jesus is everlasting.
Christ didn't have a beginning and won't have an end. He is the origin of time, space and all creation. Just as God is everlasting so is Christ. Isaiah calls him Father, because in a way, he is the father of humanity for he is the Creator of men and the world. He who conceived us and gives us spiritual life, he who guides us and takes care of us, teaches us and loves us like an earthly father should. But he does it perfectly and forever. He makes no mistakes, he never forsakes us "I am a father to Israel", he says about himself in the book of Jeremiah, "I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you".
Isaiah 9:6 John 1:1-3.
The beginning of God's creation (Revelation 3:14).
