The Lord my Great Lord.
God is the Master and majestic Lord. God is our authority.
Psalms 8 Isaiah 40:3-5 Ezekiel 16:8 Habakkuk 3:19.
Adonai is the plural of Adon. This term is the verbal parallel to Yahweh, Jehovah and YHWH (which was considered too holy to be pronounced). The word "Adonai" is not a proper noun nor is it directly a name of God. It is an emphatic form of the word "Adon" which means "lord" or "master". That is an statement of someone who is above everyone else, the one who is superior, that is why its common use is THE LORD.
Jesus is our sustenance.
Jesus was born in Bethlehem, which means house of bread. He is our spiritual sustain and the sustain of the world. He upholds all forms of life. The human body needs to be fed to work like it should. The same occurs in the spiritual life, there is a need to be fed with the Word of God, unfortunately is what we eat the least, we rather eat another type of food that is not very nutritious for our spiritual life. God provided Israel with Manna in the desert to feed them. Jesus is the "manna" of our time, the desert is the "world", and each of us has a need of Jesus. We all know that in this desert far from God we will starve, but most of us had preferred to eat other kind of food, and reject the word of God, and we don't realize that we are spiritually undernourished and an easy prey to any kind of issue that comes to our lives. How do the believers of Christ feed? By reading, studying and meditating in His word. God invites us to get up early in the morning and to gather up the precious manna from his Word to feed our souls. We can't accumulate the truth of God to be used another day, we must collect fresh food for every new day. Many Christians mark their bibles and fill their notebooks with sketches, however they never feed on Jesus. We must be aware of what we feed ourselves with. What you eat daily reflects your style of life. If we start from an early age to eat from the word of God, it will save ourselves from trouble and leads us to an orderly life. JESUS IS THE BREAD OF LIFE!
The living bread (John 6:51) Living waters (John 7:37-38).
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God ( John 1:1).
