Hear, O God, my voice, in my meditation, From the fear of an enemy Thou keepest my life,
Deliver me, O Jehovah, from an evil man, From one of violence Thou keepest me.
O Jehovah, I have called Thee, haste to me, Give ear [to] my voice when I call to Thee.
Hear, O Jehovah, my voice — I call, And favour me, and answer me.
I sought Jehovah, and He answered me, And from all my fears did deliver me.
