The sluggard is wiser in his own eyes than seven men who answer with discretion.
Do you see a person who is wise in their own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for them.
The way of a fool is right in their own eyes, but the wise person listens to counsel.
But sanctify Christ as Lord in y’all’s hearts. Always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks y’all to give a reason for the hope that is in y’all. But do this with gentleness and reverence,
Go to the ant, you sluggard. Consider her ways, and be wise;
Be wise, my son, and bring joy to my heart, then I can answer my tormentor.
