These also are sayings of the wise: To show partiality in judgment is not good.

To show partiality is not good, yet a person will do wrong for a piece of bread.


To be partial to the faces of the wicked is not good, nor to deprive the innocent of justice.


Whoever is wise will pay attention to these things. They will consider the lovingkindnesses of YHWH.


“‘Y’all must not act unjustly in judgment. You must neither lift up the face of the poor or show honor to face of the great, but you are to judge your neighbor in righteousness.


If y’all address as Father the one who impartially judges each person’s work, y’all should live out your time on earth in reverent fear,


But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, and without hypocrisy.


Y’all must stop judging according to appearance, but instead judge with righteous judgment.”


Who is wise, that he may understand these things? Who is prudent, that he may know them? For the ways of YHWH are right, and the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.


to understand a proverb and parables, the words and riddles of the wise.


Now may the fear of YHWH be on y’all. Y’all must watch carefully and do it, for there is no injustice, partiality, or bribery with YHWH our God.”


You must not pervert justice. You must not show partiality. You must not take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and perverts the words of the righteous.


Y’all must not show partiality in judgment. Y’all are to listen to the small and the great alike. Y’all must not be afraid of the face of man, for the judgment is God’s. If a case is too hard for y’all, y’all may bring to me, and I will hear it.”


Turn your ear, and listen to the words of the wise. Apply your heart to my teaching.
