The rich and the poor have this in common: YHWH is the maker of them all.

Didn’t the one who made me in the womb make him? Didn’t the same one fashion us in the womb?

He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for his Maker, but he who is kind to the needy honors him.

YHWH makes poor and makes rich. He brings low, he also lifts up.

The poor and the oppressor have this in common: YHWH gives sight to the eyes of both.

Hᴇ is not partial to princes, and doesn’t respect the rich more than the poor, for they all are the work of ʜɪꜱ hands.

The eye can’t tell the hand, “I don’t need you.” And the head can’t say to the feet, “I don’t need y’all.”
