and kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with joy; because YHWH had made them joyful, and had turned the heart of the king of Assyria to them, to strengthen their hands in the work of God, the God of Israel’s house.
and rescued him out of all his afflictions. Hᴇ gave him favor and wisdom before Pharaoh, king of Egypt, who appointed him ruler over Egypt and all his house.
All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; and he does according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth; and no one can stop his hand, or ask him, “What are you doing?”

The sixth poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates. Its water was dried up, so that the way might be prepared for the kings who come from the direction the sun rises.
Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that word of YHWH by Jeremiah’s mouth might be accomplished, YHWH stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,
“Cyrus king of Persia says, ‘YHWH, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and has commanded me to build him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah.
and a letter to Asaph the keeper of the king’s forest, that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the citadel by the temple, for the wall of the city, and for the house that I will occupy.” The king granted my requests, because of the good hand of my God on me.
The king loved Esther more than all the women, and she obtained favor and kindness in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown on her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.
