A good person leaves an inheritance to their children’s children, but the wealth of the sinner is stored for the righteous.


Those who are determined to get rich fall into a temptation, a snare, and many foolish and harmful desires that drown humans into ruin and destruction.


Will not all these take up a taunt against him, and a mocking riddle against him, and say, ‘Woe to him who increases that which is not his, and who enriches himself by extortion! How long?’


A person with an evil eye hurries after riches, and doesn’t know that poverty waits for them.


A faithful person is rich with blessings; but one who is eager to be rich will not go unpunished.


He who increases his wealth by excessive interest gathers it for one who has pity on the poor.


Don’t weary yourself to be rich. In your wisdom, show restraint.


If y’all will not listen, and y’all will not take it to heart to give glory to my name,” says YHWH Almighty, “then I will send a curse on y’all, and I will curse y’all’s blessings. Indeed, I have cursed them already, because y’all do not take it to heart.


I will cause it to go out,” says YHWH Almighty, “and it will enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him who swears falsely by my name; and it will remain in the middle of his house, and will destroy it with its timber and its stones.”


Whoever curses their father or mother, their lamp will be put out in blackness of darkness.


Don’t say, “I will pay back evil.” Wait for YHWH, and he will save you.


Getting treasures by a lying tongue is a fleeting vapor for those who seek death.
