Better is the poor who walks in his integrity than he who is perverse in his ways, and he is rich.


For what does it benefit a human if they gain the whole world but forfeit their life? Or what can a human give in exchange for their soul?


Better is a little with righteousness, than great revenues with injustice.


What makes a person desirable is their loyal love. Better to be poor than a liar.


A righteous person walks in integrity. Blessed are their children after them.


Better is little, with the fear of YHWH, than great treasure with trouble.


He who walks in his uprightness fears YHWH, but he who is perverse in his ways despises him.


For y’all’s hands are defiled with blood, and y’all’s fingers with iniquity. Y’all’s lips have spoken lies. Y’all’s tongue mutters wickedness.


All day long he deals graciously, and lends. His offspring is blessed.


A righteous person is cautious in friendship, but the way of the wicked leads them astray.


But as for me, I will walk in my integrity. Redeem me, and be merciful to me.


Please don’t let my lord pay attention to this worthless fellow, Nabal, for as his name is, so is he. Nabal is his name, and folly is with him; but I, your servant, didn’t see my lord’s young men whom you sent.


Now therefore know and consider what you will do; for evil is determined against our master and against all his house, for he is such a worthless fellow that one can’t speak to him.”


Put away from yourself a perverse mouth. Put corrupt lips far from you.
