Poverty and shame come to those who refuses discipline, but whoever heeds correction will be honored.


A wise son heeds his father’s instruction, but a scoffer doesn’t listen to rebuke.


Listen to counsel and receive instruction, that you may be wise in your latter end.


You are to speak these things, encouraging and rebuking with all authority. Don’t let anyone despise you.


That account is true. For this reason, you must rebuke them sharply, so that they will be sound in the faith,


David said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do it. Don’t be afraid, nor be dismayed, for YHWH God, even my God, is with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you, until all the work for the service of the house of YHWH is finished.


You, Solomon my son, know the God of your father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind; for YHWH searches all hearts, and understands all the imaginations of the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever.


The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son makes a glad father, but a foolish son brings grief to his mother.


For the commandment is a lamp, and the law is light. Reproofs of instruction are the way of life,


Y’all should respond to my correction. Look, I will pour out my spirit on y’all. I will make known my words to y’all.
