Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear YHWH, and depart from evil.


Y’all must stay away from every form of evil.

Depart from evil and do good. Seek peace and pursue it.

A simple person believes everything, but the prudent one carefully considers their ways.


A quick-tempered person does foolish things, and an evil schemer is hated.


The donkey saw the Angel of YHWH, and she lay down under Balaam. Balaam’s anger burned, and he struck the donkey with his staff.


There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job. This man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God, and turned away from evil.


For the backsliding of the simple will kill them. The careless ease of fools will destroy them.
