Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.


For judgment is without mercy to anyone who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.


It’s not that I seek for a gift—I seek for the fruit that increases y’all’s account.

He who is greedy for gain troubles his own house, but he who hates bribes will live.


“Y’all should give, and it will be given to y’all. An excellent measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. For the measure y’all use will be the measure y’all get back.”


He will suck cobra venom. The viper’s tongue will kill him.


He who has a generous eye will be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor.
