For we all stumble in many ways. Anyone who doesn’t stumble in what they say is a perfect person, able to bridle their entire body.


Y’all pay attention, my beloved siblings, every human should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger,


For as a dream comes with a multitude of cares, so a fool’s speech with a multitude of words.


I said, “I will watch my ways, so that I don’t sin with my tongue. I will keep my mouth with a bridle while the wicked is before me.”


“Shouldn’t the multitude of words be answered? Should a person full of talk be justified?
