When Moses went into the Tent of Meeting to speak with YHWH, he heard his voice speaking to him from above the mercy seat that was on the ark of the Testimony, from between the two cherubim; and he spoke to him.

Therefore, let us approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help us in time of need.


YHWH reigns! Let the nations tremble. Hᴇ sits enthroned between the cherubim. Let the earth shake!


Hear us, Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock, you who sit above the cherubim, shine out.


It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves, but y’all, in these things which now have been announced to y’all through those who preached the gospel to y’all by the Holy Spirit sent out from heaven—things which angels long to look into.


In the inner sanctuary he made two cherubim of olive wood, each ten cubits high.


So the people sent to Shiloh, and they brought from there the ark of the covenant of YHWH Almighty, who sits above the cherubim; and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were there with the ark of the covenant of God.


With him, I will speak mouth to mouth, clearly, not in riddles; and he will see the form of YHWH. Why then were y’all not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?”


YHWH spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the Tent of Meeting, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,


YHWH called to Moses and spoke to him from the Tent of Meeting, saying,


Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and YHWH’s glory filled the tabernacle.


Moses wasn’t able to enter into the Tent of Meeting, because the cloud stayed on it, and YHWH’s glory filled the tabernacle.


YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,


I will come down and talk with you there. I will take of the Spirit which is on you, and will put it on them. They will share the burden of the people with you, so that you don’t have carry it alone.
