They are to keep all the furnishings of the Tent of Meeting, and the obligations of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.

Y’all Depart! Depart! Go out from there! Y’all must not touch any unclean thing! Go out from among her! Cleanse yourselves, y’all who carry YHWH’s vessels.


The Kohathites set forward, bearing the sanctuary. The others set up the tabernacle before they arrived.


The tabernacle was taken down; and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari, who bore the tabernacle, went forward.

They are to keep his requirements, and the requirements of the whole congregation before the Tent of Meeting by doing the service of the tabernacle.


You are to give the Levites to Aaron and to his sons. They are given-given to him on the behalf of the children of Israel.


From the children of Israel’s half, you are to take one drawn out of every fifty, of the persons, of the cattle, of the donkeys, and of the flocks, of all the livestock, and give them to the Levites, who perform the duty of YHWH’s tabernacle.”


For by the last words of David the sons of Levi were counted, from twenty years old and upward.


My sons, y’all must not be negligent now; for YHWH has chosen y’all to stand before ʜɪᴍ, to serve ʜɪᴍ, and that y’all should be ʜɪꜱ ministers and burn incense.”
