“In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which will never be destroyed, nor will its sovereignty be left to another people; but it will break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it will stand forever.
The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness. Rather ʜᴇ is patient with us, not wishing anyone to perish, but for all to come to repentance.
When they heard this, they ceased their objections and glorified God, saying, “Then God has also granted repentance to life even to the ethnic groups!”
Peter said to them, “Y’all must repent and be baptized, every one of y’all, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your* sins. And y’all will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Then he told them another parable. “The Empire of Heaven is like yeast which a woman took and hid in three measures of flour until all the dough had risen.”
The men of Nineveh will stand up in judgment with this generation and will condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah. Now look! Something greater than Jonah is here.
I tell y’all that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who don’t need repentance.
Tell them, ‘“As surely as I live,” says Lord YHWH, “I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Y’all must turn, turn from your* evil ways! Why will y’all die, house of Israel?”’
Therefore, you must remember from where you have fallen, and repent and do the works you did at first. Otherwise, I am coming to you, and will remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent.
Therefore, let us move beyond the elementary teaching about Christ and press on toward maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, faith in God,
but first to those in Damascus, then in Jerusalem and all throughout Judea, then also to the ethnic groups, I proclaimed that they should repent and turn to God, performing deeds worthy of repentance.
“Woe to y’all, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Y’all keep shutting humans out of the Empire of Heaven. For y’all do not enter it, but neither to do allow others to enter.
yet if they repent in the land where they are carried captive, and turn again, and make supplication to you in the land of those who carried them captive, saying, ‘We have sinned and have done perversely; we have dealt wickedly,’
Jesus went about in all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the empire, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.
