When Jesus saw that a crowd was rapidly gathering, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to him, “You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him, and never enter him again!”
She kept doing this for many days, and Paul became greatly annoyed. Turning to the spirit, he said, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her!” And it came out that very moment.
While the boy was approaching, the demon slammed him on the ground and threw him into a convulsion. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, healed the boy, and gave him back to his father.
But even when the archangel Michael was disputing with the devil and arguing about the body of Moses, he did not dare to bring abusive condemnation against him, but said, “May the Lord rebuke you!”
For Jesus had commanded the impure spirit to come out of the man. It has seized him many times, and he was chained hand and foot and kept under guard, but he would break the bonds, and the demon would drive him into deserted places.
Demons also came out of many people, crying out, “You are the Son of God!” But he rebuked them and didn’t allow them to speak, because they knew he was the Christ.
