They came to Jesus, and saw him who had been possessed by demons sitting, clothed, and in his right mind, the very one who had the “legion.” They were terrified.
When Jesus stepped ashore, a man from the town who had demons came to meet him. He had not worn clothing for a long time, and did not live in a house, but in the tombs.
For he had often been bound with shackles and chains, but he tore apart the chains and broke the shackles into pieces. No one had the strength to restrain him.
Or how can anyone enter the house of the strong person and plunder their goods, unless they first bind the strong one? Then a person can plunder the house.
The report about him went out into all Syria. They brought to him all who were sick, afflicted with various diseases and torments, possessed with demons, epileptics, and paralytics. And he healed them.
