Jesus presented another parable, saying, “The Empire of Heaven is like a man who sowed excellent seed in his field,


“Now the parable means this: The seed is the word of God.


“A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he sowed the seed, some fell along the road, and it was trampled on, and the wild birds devoured it.


Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.


Very truly I tell y’all, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains by itself alone. But if it dies, it bears much fruit.


Blessed are y’all who sow beside all waters, who send out the feet of the ox and the donkey.


In the morning sow your seed, and in the evening don’t withhold your hand; for you don’t know which will prosper, whether this or that, or whether they both will be equally good.


The one who observes the wind won’t sow; and the one who regards the clouds won’t reap.

He presented another parable to them, saying, “The Empire of Heaven is like a mustard seed which a human took and sowed in his field.


He answered them, “Y’all have been granted to know the mysteries of the Empire of Heaven, but it has not been granted to them.


He told to them many things in parables, saying, “A farmer went out to sow.


From that time on Jesus began to preach and say, “Y’all must repent! For the Empire of Heaven has come near.”


“Y’all must repent, for the Empire of Heaven has come near!”


For whoever has will be given more, and whoever doesn’t have, even what they have will be taken away from them.”


then sleeps and gets up night and day, and the seed springs up and grows, though the sower doesn’t know how.
