Some thought that because Judas had the money box, Jesus was saying to him, “Buy what things we need for the feast,” or that he should give something to the poor.


These are grumblers and complainers, following after their desires. Their mouths speak proud things, flattering people to gain advantage.


Y’all should do everything without complaining and arguing,


The one who steals must no longer steal, but rather must work, producing with their hands something that is good, so that they may have something to give to those in need.


Y’all don’t grumble, as some of them did, and perished by the destroying angel.


So Jesus answered them and said, “Y’all must stop grumbling to each other.


Philip answered him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread would not be enough for everyone to receive even a little.”


The Pharisees and scribes were complaining, “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.”

Y’all grumbled in y’all’s tents and said, “YHWH hates us, so ʜᴇ brought us out of the land of Egypt to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites to destroy us.


But some of those present were indignant, saying to one another, “Why has this ointment been wasted?


But Jesus said, “Y’all leave her alone. Why are y’all bothering her? She has done a beautiful service for me.


This perfume could have been sold for a high price and the money given to the poor.”
