He saw a poor widow casting in two small copper coins.


Oh that you were like my brother, who nursed from the breasts of my mother! Then if I found you outside, I could kiss you, and no one would despise me.


Whoever gives one of these little ones just a cup of cold water to drink in the name of a disciple, truly I tell y’all, that person will never lose their reward.”


During a severe trial of oppression, their abundant joy and their extreme poverty have overflowed to the wealth of their generosity.


For if the willingness is present, the gift itself is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have.
