Then they came to Jericho. As he was leaving Jericho with his disciples and a large crowd, a blind beggar named Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, was sitting by the road.
As Jesus approached Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the road begging.
Then the neighbors and those who had previously seen him as a beggar said, “Isn’t this the man who used to sit and beg?”
The poor man died, and he was carried by the angels to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried.
A poor man named Lazarus was dropped off at his gate, full of sores.
As he sowed, some seeds fell by the roadside, and the birds came and devoured them.
Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through it.
