but these have been written so that y’all may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing y’all may have life in his name.


While he was still speaking, a bright cloud suddenly overshadowed them. A voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to him.”


The tempter approached and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become bread.”


Those in the boat worshiped him, saying, “You are truly the Son of God!”


And a voice from the heavens said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”


For what the law couldn’t do, because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending ʜɪꜱ own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh as a sin offering, ʜᴇ condemned sin in the flesh,

For God so loved the world, that ʜᴇ gave ʜɪꜱ only begotten Son, that everyone who believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.


Nathanael answered him, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God! You are King of Israel!”


I have seen and have testified that this is the Son of God.”


The angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore the one who is to be born will be holy and will be called the Son of God.

Before Jesus’s public entrance, John preached the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.
