“You are to speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When any of y’all presents an offering to YHWH, y’all are to bring as your* offering an animal from the herd or the flock.
Therefore I urge y’all, siblings, by the mercies of God, to present y’all’s bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your* proper sacred service.
You are to make an altar of earth for me, and sacrifice your burnt offerings on it along with your peace offerings, your sheep, and your cattle. In every place where I record my name I will come to you and I will bless you.
and y’all will make a food offering to YHWH of the herd, or of the flock—a burnt offering, or a sacrifice, to fulfill a vow, or as a free will offering, or at y’all’s appointed feasts, to make a pleasant aroma to YHWH—
then the man is to bring his wife to the priest and bring an offering for her: one tenth of an ephah of barley meal. He must not pour oil or frankincense on it, for it is a meal offering of jealousy, a meal offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to memory.
and afterward the continual burnt offering, the offerings of the new moons, of all the set feasts of YHWH that were consecrated, and of everyone who willingly offered a free will offering to YHWH.
