Y'all Version Bible

His parents said these things because they feared the Jewish leaders. For they had already agreed that anyone who confessed him to be Christ would be put out of the synagogue.

They will put y’all out of the synagogues. Yes, the time is coming that whoever kills y’all will think they are offering service to God.


Yet no one spoke openly of him for fear of the Jewish leaders.


Blessed are y’all when humans hate you*, and when they exclude and mock y’all, and reject y’all’s name as evil because of the Son of Humanity.


They answered him, “You were born entirely in sin, and yet you are teaching us?” Then they threw him out.


But for the cowardly, the unbelieving, the disgusting, the murderers, the sexually immoral, the magic drug users, the idolaters, and all the liars, their share is in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”


So they summoned the apostles and had them flogged. Then they ordered them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.


None of the rest dared join them, but the people held them in high regard.


They called them in and ordered them not to speak or teach in the name of Jesus at all.


On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, when disciples were together with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood in the middle of them and said, “Peace be with y’all.”


Later, Joseph of Arimathaea, a disciple of Jesus (but secretly for fear of the Jewish leaders), asked of Pilate if he could take Jesus’s body. Pilate gave him permission, so he came and took away his body.


“Whom have you dreaded and feared, so that you lie, and have not remembered me, nor laid it to your heart? Haven’t I held my peace for a long time, and you don’t fear me?


“I, even I, am ʜᴇ who comforts y’all. Who are you, that you are afraid of humans who will die, and of the child of humanity who will be made as grass?


“Y’all listen to me, those who know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law. Y’all must not fear the reproach of men, and don’t be dismayed at their insults.


The fear of people becomes a trap, but whoever puts his trust in YHWH is kept safe.


This is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?”


Therefore the Jews didn’t believe that he had been blind and had received his sight, until they called the parents of the man who had received his sight,


As for how he sees now, we don’t know; or who opened his eyes, we don’t know. He is of age. Y’all ask him. He will speak for himself.”


When Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, he found him and he said, “Do you believe in the Son of Humanity?”
