John 7:12

Y'all Version Bible

There was much murmuring among the multitudes concerning him. Some said, “He is a good man.” Others said, “Not so, he leads the multitude astray.”

Then some of the Pharisees said, “This man is not from God, because he doesn’t keep the Sabbath.” Others said, “How can a man who is a sinner do such signs?” So there was division among them.


The Pharisees answered them, “Y’all haven’t been deceived too, have y’all?


The Pharisees heard the multitude murmuring these things about him, and the chief priests and the Pharisees sent officers to arrest him.


Y’all should do everything without complaining and arguing,


For rarely will one die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die.


For he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith, and a considerable number of people were added to the Lord.


They replied, “Are you also from Galilee? Search, and you will see that no prophet has come from Galilee.”


Now when the humans saw the sign that Jesus performed, they said, “This is truly the prophet who comes into the world.”


Now there was a man named Joseph, a member of the council, a good and righteous man


When the centurion saw what had happened, he glorified God, saying, “Certainly this was a righteous man.”


Jesus responded to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except one, God.


Fear seized them all, and they glorified God, saying, “A great prophet has arisen among us!” and, “God has come to help his people!”


The good human produces good from the good treasure in their heart, while the evil person produces evil from evil treasure in their heart. For out of the abundance of the heart, one’s mouth speaks.


and said, “Sir, we remember that while he was still alive that deceiver said: ‘After three days I will rise again.’


They were seeking a way to arrest him, but they were afraid of the crowd, because they considered him to be a prophet.


It is enough for a disciple to be like their teacher, and the servant like their master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more the members of his household!
