Now the Jews were looking for him at the feast and saying, “Where is he?”
Then they looked for Jesus and were saying to one another as they stood in the temple, “What do y’all think—that he isn’t coming to the feast at all?”
This is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?”
After these things, Jesus traveled in Galilee. He didn’t want to travel in Judea, because the Jews were seeking to kill him.
Yet no one spoke openly of him for fear of the Jewish leaders.
Then the Jews marveled, saying, “How does this man know so much without any formal education?”
Then they asked him, “Where is he?” He said, “I don’t know.”
