Philip found Nathanael and told him, “We have found the one Moses wrote about in the law and the prophets also wrote about—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”
And so, having received help from God to this day, I stand and testify to both small and great, saying nothing other than what the prophets and Moses said would happen:
The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs. The obedience of the peoples will be to him.
Your offspring will be as the dust of the earth, and you will spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south. In you and in your offspring, all the families of the earth will be blessed.
For all those who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written, “Cursed is everyone who doesn’t continue to do all things that are written in the scroll of the law.”
