John 5:25

Y'all Version Bible

Truly I tell y’all, the hour is coming and is present, when the dead will hear the Son of God’s voice, and those who hear will live.

Y’all must not marvel at this, for the hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear ʜɪꜱ voice


Therefore he says, “Awake, you sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”


even when we were dead in our transgressions, ʜᴇ made us alive together with Christ—by grace y’all have been saved—


But the hour is coming and is present, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to be ʜɪꜱ worshipers.


“And to the angel of the church in Sardis write: “Thus says the one who holds the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name for being alive, but you are dead.


Whoever is of God hears the words of God. The reason y’all don’t hear is because y’all are not of God.”


When y’all were dead in y’all’s transgressions and in the uncircumcision of y’all’s flesh, he made y’all alive together with him, having forgiven us all our transgressions,


And y’all were dead in your* transgressions and sins,


Therefore, we were buried with him through baptism into death, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life.


Why don’t y’all understand what I am saying? It’s because y’all are unable to hear my word.


For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he wishes.


For this son of mine was dead and is alive again. He was lost and is found.’ Then they began to celebrate.


But Jesus said to him, “Leave the dead to bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the Empire of God.”


Jesus replied, “Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when y’all will worship the Father neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem.


But we had to celebrate and rejoice, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again. He was lost and is found.’”


After Jesus said these things, he lifted up his eyes to heaven and said, “Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son so that your Son may glorify you,


It was just before the feast of the Passover. Jesus, knowing that the time had come when he would depart from this world to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.


When they heard this, many of his disciples said, “This is a hard saying! Who can understand it?”


He answered them, “I told y’all already, and y’all didn’t listen. Why do y’all want to hear it again? Y’all don’t also want to become his disciples, do y’all?”
