For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of ʜɪꜱ Son, how much more, having been reconciled, we will be saved by his life.
and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has released us from our sins by his blood—
He said, “Don’t lay your hand on the boy or do anything to him. For now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from me.”
He said, “Now take your son, your only son, Isaac, whom you love, and go into the land of Moriah. Offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains which I will tell you of.”
For a child is born to us. A son is given to us; and the government will be on his shoulders. His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Whoever believes in him is not condemned. Whoever doesn’t believe has been condemned already, because they have not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
But we see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, that by the grace of God he might taste death on behalf of everyone.
Y’all look at the kind of love the Father has given to us—that we should be called children of God! And indeed we are! For this reason the world doesn’t know us: because it didn’t know ʜɪᴍ.
