So when he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he said this, and they believed the Scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken.


But they didn’t understand this statement. Its meaning was hidden from them, so that they did not understand it, but they were afraid to ask him about it.


My strength is dried up like a potsherd. My tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth. You have brought me into the dust of death.


But God raised him up, releasing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for him to be held by death.


explaining and proving that the Christ had to suffer and rise from the dead, “This Jesus I am proclaiming to y’all is the Christ.”
