I lifted up my eyes and looked, and there was a man clothed in linen, whose waist was adorned with pure gold of Uphaz.

I saw six men came from the way of the upper gate, which lies toward the north, every man with his slaughter weapon in his hand. One man in the middle of them was clothed in linen, with a writer’s inkhorn by his side. They went in, and stood beside the bronze altar.


There is silver beaten into plates, which is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz, the work of the engraver and of the hands of the goldsmith. Their clothing is blue and purple. They are all made by skillful workers.


When Joshua was by Jericho, he lifted up his eyes and looked and saw a man stood in front of him with his sword drawn in his hand. Joshua went to him and said to him, “Are you for us, or for our enemies?”


Y’all stand firm then, fastening the belt of truth around your* waist, putting on the breastplate of righteousness,


“I had a vision in the night and saw a man riding on a red horse. He stood among the myrtle trees that were in a ravine, and behind him there were red, brown, and white horses.


Righteousness will be the belt around his waist, and faithfulness the belt around his waist.
