“People of Israel, y’all listen to these words! Jesus of Nazareth was a man attested to y’all by God with miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through him among y’all, just as y’all already know.
He came to Jesus by night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God, for no one can do the signs that you do unless God is with him.”
let it be known to all of y’all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth—whom y’all crucified but whom God raised from the dead—this man stands here before y’all healthy.
For the king knows about these things, and I am speaking openly with him. For I am convinced that none of this has escaped his notice, since this was not done in a corner.
shouting, “Men of Israel, y’all need to help! This is the man who teaches everyone everywhere against our people, our law, and this place. Not only that, he even brought Greeks into the temple and defiled this holy place!”
When they arrived and had gathered the church together, they reported all the things that God had done with them, and how ʜᴇ had opened a door of faith to the ethnic groups.
When Peter saw this, he addressed the people, “Fellow Israelites, why do y’all marvel at this? Why do y’all stare at us, as though we made this man walk by our own power or godliness?
Y’all shouldn’t work for food that perishes, but for the food that endures toward eternal life, which the Son of Humanity will give y’all. For God the Father has sealed him.”
But the testimony which I have is greater than that of John. For the works which the Father gave me to accomplish, the very works that I do, testify about me, that the Father has sent me.
Philip found Nathanael and told him, “We have found the one Moses wrote about in the law and the prophets also wrote about—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”
One of them, named Cleopas, answered him, “Are you the only one visiting Jerusalem who doesn’t know the things that have happened there in these days?”
