Hezekiah commanded them to offer the burnt offering on the altar. When the burnt offering began, YHWH’s song also began, along with the trumpets and instruments of David king of Israel.

Jehoiada appointed the officers of the house of YHWH under the hand of the Levitical priests, whom David had distributed in the house of YHWH, to offer the burnt offerings of YHWH, as it is written in the law of Moses, with rejoicing and with singing, as David had ordered.


Y’all give thanks to YHWH, for ʜᴇ is good, for ʜɪꜱ lovingkindness endures forever.


When he had taken counsel with the people, he appointed those who were to sing to YHWH and give praise in holy array as they go out before the army, and say, “Y’all are to give thanks to YHWH, for ʜɪꜱ lovingkindness endures forever.”


All the children of Israel looked on, when the fire came down, and YHWH’s glory was on the house. They bowed themselves with their faces to the ground on the pavement, worshiped, and gave thanks to YHWH, saying, “For ʜᴇ is good, for ʜɪꜱ lovingkindness endures forever!”


and with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should sound aloud, and with instruments for the songs of God, and the sons of Jeduthun to be at the gate.


All the assembly worshiped, the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded. All this continued until the burnt offering was finished.


The priests stood, according to their positions; the Levites also with instruments of music of YHWH, which David the king had made to give thanks to YHWH, when David praised by their ministry, saying “For his lovingkindness endures forever.” The priests sounded trumpets before them; and all Israel stood.


The children of Israel who were present at Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with great gladness. The Levites and the priests praised YHWH day by day, singing with loud instruments to YHWH.
