When they began to sing and to praise, YHWH set ambushers against the children of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were struck.

I will call for a sword against him to all my mountains,” says Lord YHWH. “Every man’s sword will be against his brother.

In his days Edom revolted from under the hand of Judah, and made a king over themselves.

Then the men of Judah gave a shout. As the men of Judah shouted, God struck Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah.


The ropes of death surrounded me. The torrents of destruction terrified me.
