The Spirit of God came on Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest. He stood above the people, and said to them, “God says, ‘Why do y’all disobey YHWH’s commands, so that y’all do not prosper? Because y’all have forsaken YHWH, ʜᴇ has also forsaken y’all.’”
Then the Spirit of YHWH came on Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, the Levite, of the sons of Asaph, in the middle of the assembly;
The Spirit of YHWH came on him, and he judged Israel. He went out to war, and YHWH delivered Cushan Rishathaim king of Mesopotamia into his hand. His hand prevailed against Cushan Rishathaim.
But two men remained in the camp. The name of one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad; and the Spirit rested on them. They were of those who were written, but had not gone out to the Tent; and they prophesied in the camp.
