In the beginning God made of nought heaven and earth.

And God said, Light be made, and the light was made.

Heavens be made steadfast by the word of the Lord; and all the virtue of those [or them] by the spirit of his mouth.

Thy witnessings be made able to be believed greatly; Lord, holiness be-cometh thine house, into the length of days.

Who is this that said, that a thing should be done, when the Lord commandeth not?

Which when also he is the brightness of glory, and [the] figure of his substance, and beareth all things by word of his virtue, he maketh purgation of sins, and sitteth on the right half of the majesty in heavens;

By faith we understand that the worlds were made [or were shaped] by God’s word, that visible things were made of invisible things.
