And thou guessedest, that thou shouldest not see darknesses; and that thou shouldest not be oppressed with the fierceness of waters flowing.

Send out thine hand from on high, ravish me out, and deliver thou me from many waters; and from the hand of alien sons.

The sorrows of death encompassed me; and the strands [or streams] of wickedness have troubled me.

The sorrows of hell encompassed me; the snares of death before-occupied me.

And after two and sixty weeks of years Christ shall be slain. And it shall not be his people, that shall deny him. And the people with the duke to coming shall destroy the city, and the saintuary; and the end thereof shall be destroying, and after the end of battle shall be ordained desolation.

And one of the seven angels came, that had seven vials, and spake with me, and said, Come thou, I shall show to thee the damnation of the great whore, that sitteth on many waters,

And he said to me, The waters which thou hast seen, where the whore sitteth, be peoples, and folks, and languages.
