Now, therefore, sons, hear ye me; blessed be they that keep my ways.
For I [have] kept the ways of the Lord; and I did not turn wickedly from my God.
Perdition and death said, With our ears we have heard the fame of wisdom.
The song of degrees. Blessed be all men, that dread the Lord; that go in his ways.
For I kept the ways of the Lord; and I did not go away unfaithfully from my God.
When prophecy faileth, the people shall be destroyed; but he that keepeth the law, is blessed.
Blessed is the man that findeth wisdom, and that floweth with prudence.
It is a tree of life to them that take it; and he that holdeth it, is blessed.
Now therefore, my son, hear thou me, and go thou not away from the words of my mouth.

And he said, But yea [or Rather], blessed be they, that hear the word of God, and keep it.
