It is better to sit in the corner of an house without [a] roof, than with a woman full of chiding, and in a common house.

A fond [or foolish] woman, and full of cry, and full of unleaveful lusts, and that knoweth nothing utterly,

and that they be prudent, chaste, sober, having care of the house, benign, subject to their husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
