As I was in the days of my youth, when in private God was in my tabernacle.

And with a chosen man, thou shalt be chosen; and with a wayward man, thou shalt be wayward.

The Lord is a firmness to men dreading him; and his testament is, that it be showed to them.

A shrewd heart is abominable to the Lord; and his will is in them, that go simply.

Now I shall not call you servants, for the servant knoweth not, what his lord shall do; but I have called you friends, for all things whatever I heard of my Father, I have made known to you.

If any man will do his will, he shall know of the teaching, whether it be of God, or I speak of myself.

He that hath ears, hear he, what the Spirit saith to the churches. To him that overcometh I shall give angel meat hid [or manna]; and I shall give to him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth, but he that taketh.
