Lo! forsooth in that day the servants of Isaac came, telling to him of the pit which they had digged, and said, We have found water.

Which abide death, and it cometh not; as men that dig out treasure,

Therefore I loved thy command-ments; more than gold and topaz.

I delighted in the way of thy witnessings; as in all riches.
