The tongue of wise men honoureth knowing; the mouth of fools boileth out folly.

Death and life be in the works of [the] tongue; they that love it, shall eat the fruits thereof.

He that keepeth his mouth and his tongue, keepeth his soul from anguishes.

Thou art bound by the words of thy mouth; and thou art taken with thine own words.

It is good, that thou sustain a just [or rightwise] man; but also withdraw thou not thine hand from him; for he that dreadeth God, is not negligent of anything.
