Forsooth after that Abram began to be of ninety years and nine, the Lord appeared to him, and said to him, I am Almighty God; go thou before me, and be thou perfect;
God, his way is without wem; the speech of the Lord is examined with fire, that is, is pure and clean as metal proved in the furnace; he is a shield of all men hoping in him.
Brethren, henceforward joy ye, be ye perfect, excite ye [or and teach ye]; understand ye the same thing; have ye peace, and God of peace and of love shall be with you.
Therefore, most dearworthy brethren, we that have these promises, cleanse we us from all filth of the flesh and of the spirit, doing holiness in the dread of God.
Epaphras, that is of you, the servant of Jesus Christ, greeteth you well; ever busy for you in prayers, that ye stand perfect and full in all the will of God.
